Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) has commenced a new reasonably priced housing scheme for the year 2015-16, at Mohali. In sectors 90 and 91, 220 acre has already been acquired with a proposed plan to engineer 800 residential plots along with the parallel evolving housing development projects in Sector 66 and 70. Sector 88 and 89 has also seen an acquisition of 600 acre under the Eco City Phase II. Under the land pooling scheme this would be GMADA´s second largest residential outlaying plan with a mammoth budget of Rs 3,400 crore.
