Ambuja Compocem has been rapidly growing in Bihar state with its unique proposition of compressive strength combined with long-standing durability and superior finish.
At a recently held Dealers’ Conference hosted by Ambuja Cement, the channel partners observed that the new product Ambuja Compocem was fast gaining popularity across the state – a traditional stronghold of slag cement – and had already become a household name in various markets in Bihar.
Echoing the success of the product at the conference that saw an overwhelming participation of over 150 dealers,
Navin Malhotra, Marketing Head (East),
said, “In less than six months of its launch, Ambuja Compocem has forged ahead stepping towards a remarkable 1 lakh metric tonne of sales in the eastern region. This showcases that the product is meeting the exact needs of the consumers.”
Ambuja Compocem – the first-ever combination of cement, fly-ash and slag product in India– has been launched in March 2017 in Bihar and Jharkhand, reiterating the Company’s strong commitment in creating products that help in sustainable construction.
“The product is an outcome of our strong commitment towards sustainability. We would like to thank our dealers and technical services teams for their support as without them this feat would not have been achieved,” added Malhotra.
The dealers commended the product saying it has broken the clutter and pierced into the traditionally stronghold of slag cement. It has been able to bridge the gaps of quality cement offering long-term sustainability and strength.
At the conference, the Ambuja team engaged the participating channel partners on various aspects of Ambuja Compocem that would help them communicate better with individual home builders.
The channel partners, who are part of this success story, were felicitated with a token of appreciation.
Ambuja Compocem is a result of pioneering research and development by the in-house product development team at the Chhattisgarh facility. The much-needed push for Ambuja Compocem sales was supported with below the line advertisement and aggressive backing from Technical Services Team. The packaging and services of the brand were also tailored to suit the market which was positively received by the customers.
