Jasmeet Singh, Head-Corporate Communications and External Relations, JCB India, shares morea The benefit: Excon is an ideal platform to exhibit products and services that have the potential to drive growth in the future.
At JCB, we utilise this platform to connect with our customers and showcase our entire range of products and technology. Moreover, it gives us an opportunity to reiterate our commitment to the Indian market. The exhibition also plays an instrumental role in bringing the entire industry together. It enables us to reach out to our customers and all other stakeholders together.
Launches or product upgrades: We will showcase the entire range of our world-class JCB products, starting from the compact range such as mini excavator and skid-steer loader to mid-range machines such as backhoe loaders, telehandlers, super loaders to larger excavators, compactors and wheel loaders. All these products have been designed and engineered to cater to the changing needs and increasing demand across different segments. JCB will also display its range of consumer products, parts and product support options. Apart from this, our famous Dancing Diggers show will enthral the crowd throughout the five-day event. Visitors will get to experience world-class technology in action at our stand in terms of Telematics and IoT.
CE demand drivers: The roads and highways sector has been and continues to be one of the major drivers for the ECE industry.
Other sectors such as railways, airports, inland waterways, etc, are also integral to driving growth. However, more needs to be done in these sectors to ensure sustainable growth. Irrigation, real estate and mining are a few other sectors that have to start progressing to make demand sustainable. The construction equipment market has shown growth in the past couple of years, primarily because of the government's investments in the infrastructure sector, strategic budget allocation in the last three consecutive budgets and a number of projects getting announced. The government is taking strategic actions to propel growth and we are hopeful that these sectors will also start performing in the future.
