The third edition of Hospital Build & Infrastructure India, a premier B2B event on hospital infrastructure, planning, supplies and healthcare development, concluded successfully on December 16, 2012. The three-day event witnessed the display of latest hospital infrastructure products and technologies, and attracted over 3,000 trade visitors.
The inaugural Hospital Build and Infrastructure Awards felicitated leaders in the healthcare industry. Winners at these awards included Kohinoor Hospital for the 'Best Sustainable Hospital Project'; Hiranandani Hospital for the 'Best Healing Environment' Award; Apollo Telemedicine for 'Best Technology Initiative'; Fortis Memorial Research Institute for the 'Best Initiative to Improve Design Standard for Healthcare'; Larsen & Tubro for the 'Builder/Construction Company for a Project'; Medanta for 'Best Physical Environment Award'; Archi Medes for the 'Architect/Designer of the Year for a Project'.

The conference deliberated upon the topics such as winning strategy in the new regionalised multi-national healthcare market place; hospital build, design and upgrade - designing and building safe, functional, effective architecture and infrastructure; redesigning healthcare quality model.
