5 Petals has seen massive growth amid the limited urban space available.
Realising the hazardous impact of chemicals and pesticides in our daily food and its unseen face, founders of 5 Petals (www.5petalsgarden.com) decided to grow vegetable and fruits as a passion on their own, and started helping friends and like-minded people to set up their own kitchen or edibles garden.
The passion of adopting the age-old agricultural practices with zero chemicals turned into 'joy of gardening' and sprouted to a small company called 5 Petals by a group of people with expertise in horticulture, natural farming, design, and conceptualisation.
Amid the challenging environment
Being in the urban area, with limited space to grow edibles, 'limited-space-maximum-growth' was the challenge for the team. They then figured came out with a solution for edibles in the vertical garden in customised structures that are in sync with the interior as well as the exterior. This was successful and was appreciated at the International Urban Krishimela, by the Government of Karnataka and University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore. This made 5 Petals grow even more in urban spaces with even more awards in 'limited space growing'. The domain expertise lies in growing your own food as in terrace garden, herb garden, and custom landscapes, waterscapes, Zen garden, Buddha garden, as livingscapes; besides their expertise in organic and natural farming consultancy.
