An export-oriented plastic cluster has been proposed at Amausi industrial enclave to be set up at an investment of over Rs 100 crore in Lucknow, by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) chamber Indian Industries Association (IIA) in collaboration with Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET), Lucknow. Around 1,800 sq m of industrial plot will be required for the proposed cluster from UP State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC). Assocham proposes for a Chinese manufacturing zone in UP The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India, Assocham has proposed for setting up a Chinese manufacturing zone in the state after 50 Chinese firms showed interest towards investment in Uttar Pradesh, which will bring at least 1 lakh crore investment in the state. The Chinese companies will develop their own townships, including school, hospital and other amenities.
