Among the pioneers of large-format integrated business cities, Mahindra Lifespace has been among the first green home developers in India, with landmark structures to its credit such as Luminare in Gurgaon, Splendour in Mumbai and Anatheia in Pune. Under the leadership of Anita Arjundas, Managing Director, the company has been powering its vision of transforming urban landscapes with a footprint of 12.94 million sq ft of completed projects and over 9.44 million sq ft of projects currently under development across Tier-I and Tier-II cities.
Spread across 7 acre, Luminare in Gurgaon has been developed as a high-rise, low density development, incorporating distinctive features like wraparound, private elevator lobbies, ample green spaces and a rainwater harvesting system, along with exclusive luxury and privacy features. Similarly, the company´s residential project, Splendour in Mumbai, is recognised for its structural uniqueness, which involves conventional formwork with low thermal conductivity fly-ash bricks. Also, its upcoming project, Antheia in Pune, is a structural landmark because of the use of aluminium formwork construction technology (shear wall construction), Mivan, a single-stack plumbing system along with fly-ash content in the concrete walls or Mivan structure, GGBS and jute louvers.
Mahindra Lifespace´s approach encompasses sustainable practices for environmental, social and business responsibility, and focuses on enhancing the occupants´ sense of well-being. The company has often strived to develop alternate solutions using polymers, manufactured graded sand, etc, for its projects. Having already established its extensive presence across the country over the past two decades, the company aims to reinforce its presence across the spectrum - from quality, affordable housing to large-format developments and premium or niche projects.
