NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) signed a power purchase agreement with Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) to supply 250 MW power to the country from the unallocated quota available with the power ministry.
The Government of Tamil Nadu has proposed a comprehensive scheme to waive inte-rest to the tune of Rs 157.19 crore. Several owners, who availed of TNHB's LIG, MIG and HIG flats, either under the monthly installment scheme or the outright purchase scheme, would benefit from the move.
