Century Textiles to invest Rs 2,408 cr in cement business

Century Textiles and Industries has plans to expand its cement capacity by 4.3 mn tonne at an investment of Rs 2,408 crore. This will in-crease the company’s total cement capacity to 12.8 mn tonne. The company expects the cement demand to grow by 8-9 per cent this fiscal from 6.5 per cent last year.
