Chettinad Cement to set up 2 mn tonne unit

Chettinad Cement plans to set up a cement grinding unit with a capacity of 2 mtpa in the Solapur district in Maharashtra. In the first three months ending June 30, 2011, the company reported a net profit of Rs 69.64 crore against Rs 20 crore in the same period last year.
