Dalmia Bharat eyes assets of Holcim-Lafarge

As reported, Delhi-based Dalmia Bharat is in talks to place a bid for one or more European cement assets put on the block by Holcim and Lafarge as part of the global cement deal. Dalmia Bharat is the second Indian company after Kumar Mangalam Birla´s UltraTech to join the race for buying cement units of global cement giants Holcim and Lafarge, which are set to merge.
