Dalmia Bharat gets Rs 500 cr from KKR

Private equity firm KKR has invested Rs 500 crore in Dalmia Bharat Enterprises, a leading cement manufacturer. Recently, Dalmia Cement and KKR inked an agreement to invest Rs 750 crore for use in both sequential and merger and acquisition-based growth of the cement making firm. The additional capital will enable the company to consolidate its existing market position, leverage its balance sheet, and pursue attractive organic and inorganic growth options.
