Govt clears land buy for unit expansion

The Karnataka cabinet approved the acquisition of 24 acre by Rajashree Cement for its expansion in Gulbarga district. The company, in its application to the government, had requested additional land for expansion of its cement manufacturing unit from 4.20 mtpa to 8.45 mtpa. The cabinet , while clearing the proposal, has told the company to buy the land at the market rate and that the government would not interfere in land acquisition.Contact: Rajashree Cement.
