Holcim to set up 3 new plants

Holcim plans to set up three Greenfield manufacturing plants in the country in the next five years to serve the rising domestic demand. The company will invest $1 bn in the project. Each new plant will have a production capacity of around 3 mn tonne. The expansion will take the company's total cement-making capacity to 60 mtpa from the current 50 mn tonne.
