Jaypee to set up cement, clinker units in HP

The Jaypee Group plans to set up a 2.75 mn tonne clinker unit in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. Besides, the company will also set up a 1.5 mn tonne cement grinding unit in Bilaspur district. The project is estimated to cost Rs 610 crore. The entity has inked a MoU with the state government for the project. The project will generate employment opportunities for about 600 people.
