Kenya approves Sanghi's cement project

Gujarat based Sanghi Industries is all geared up to set up a mining and cement project in Kenya after having received environment clearance for the project. The company plans to invest around Rs 400 crore to commission the plant to produce around 600,000 tonne cement per annum. It is also entering into an agreement with local railway authorities in Kenya to transport cement from the proposed plant to the market. The cement will be sold under the brand name ‘Sanghi’ in Kenya and its the neighbouring countries.
