South cement makers export to Myanmar

Cement makers in South India have plans to export cement to different markets due to the depressed market conditions in the country for the second consecutive year. After testing the Sri Lankan market, manufacturers have now started exporting to Myanmar. Companies including Chettinad Cements, The India Cements, Dalmia Cements and Ramco Cements have started shipping cement to Myanmar in the past few months. About 10,000 tonne to 12,000 tonne of cement has been exported to Myanmar last month.
