Porta'ble Living

Lesser time to install or erect compared to conventional structures, has increased the demand for Satec Porta Cabins across the world. Portable Cabins (Porta cabins) are prefabricated structures ranging from 160-300 sq ft. They are strong, secure, and comfortable. Most importantly, they can be easily dismantled and relocated, or transported as a unit. Satec provides furnished (with toilet, furniture, internal electrical wiring and fittings) and unfurnished cabins in a range of sizes. Its technology supports the manufacture of customer specific designs as well. Satec porta cabins are made of poly-urethane known as puff which is an excellent material for strength and insulation. These cabins retain temperature for a long time, especially those which have air conditioners in it. The poly-urethane panel is capable of facing any environmental conditions in cold, hot temperatures, 170 kmph wind, earth quakes and other natural disasters. No wastage These cabins are very environment-friendly. Unlike conventional buildings, they do not accumulate waste like asphalt shingles, concrete, brick and wood. Once a project is over at a particular site, the cabins can be unassembled and moved to another site. This can be done for the next 40 years continuously as these porta cabins have a long life. The only thing left is the base i.e. a 1ft. high plinth which works as a strong foundation for the porta cabins. Also, the increased insulation reduces power consumption significantly. Growing demand The most important application of porta cabins is for site residential purposes, however, these structures can be more permanent. In the last three years, Satec has installed porta cabins 100 times more than what the company used to do. For a project in Australia, which is being built on a forest land, the company will create accommodation for 500 people. This would include clinic, recreational facilities, dining and laundry facilities, accommodation, management staff, engineers, workers, officers and lots of other things. Satec operates in all states of India. Besides, it has partners in Mauritius Ghana and Kenya. As a part of its expansion strategy, Satec aims to educate people about the product and let them know why it is beneficial to buy it. It can make a porta cabin of Ground + one level and now aims to make a low-cost house. (Communication by the management of the company)
