The new dock levellers by Gandhi Automations reduce 65 per cent of installations.

In 1983, a novel concept, applied to satisfy different customer needs, multiple advantages and cheaper costs, was introduced by Gandhi Automations. This concept of the dock-leveller has its whole drive unit encased in a wall box and is installed on a wall inside the warehouse. This not only enables easy and economical maintenance but also no maneuvering is required under the platform or inside the pit.

Optimising functions

This product with multiple consoles was designed after an elaborate study of previously installed power units. This console, depending on its type of installation, can hydraulically power several dock-levellers with only one console (drive unit), each dock-leveller controlled separately by its own control pad. They can also work simultaneously. These solutions optimise the function of the single parts. The reduction of the electric mains supply points to one per console instead of one per dock-leveller makes the product affordable. The reduction is about 65 per cent in dock-leveller installations and about 75 per cent in dock-leveller and powered sectional door installations.

For safe operations

Radius lip dock-levellers allow the dock to connect with the truck bed, enabling it to drive directly with fork-lift trucks and roll containers. Built in conformity with the EN 1398,these dock levellers are equipped with the most secure safety devices.

Telescopic lip dock-levellers are ideal for connecting vehicles unable to drive near the dock (eg: sea containers, side loading railway wagons), or where it is imperative to reach a longer, total length of the dock-leveller itself. These types can be supplied with a lip extending up to 1 m.
