BGR, inks deal with Hitachi

BGR Energy Systems has inked a deal with power plant equipment manufacturer Hitachi for super-critical technology for boilers, and turbines and generators. BGR has entered into technical collaboration agreements for boilers and turbines and generators from 660 MW to 1,000 MW through two majority-owned subsidiaries. Another subsidiary, BGR Boiler, has also signed a technical collaboration agreement with Hitachi Power Europe GmbH, Germany, for super-critical boilers from 660 MW to 1,100 MW.
