Over the next five years, UK-based construction equipment maker JC Bamford Excavators (JCB) will invest Rs 500 crore in India to set up its fourth manufacturing facility. The firm will spend Rs 500 crore on a Greenfield plant near Jaipur as a part of its strategy to ramp up its operations in India. The plant, to be constructed at Mahindra World City SEZ, will be operational by the second quarter of 2014 and will commence fabrication work.
