Konecranes modernises the rotary crane

Konecranes has modernised the rotary crane for rocket drives at the German Aerospace Centre, installing the latest technology for increased efficiency and safety. Upgradation has been provided to the crane system that reduced operating costs by using the latest electrical systems and technology. The new electrical system is housed within robust switching cabinets. Its safety concept also received an upgradation and has been adapted to the new machinery directives. A new platform has been set up to ensure safety when accessing the rotary crane.
