Metso enters globe valve business

Metso recently acquired a globe valve technology and service company, Valstone Control Inc in South Korea, in order to expand its products for the oil and gas and power industries. Valstone Inc is a privately-owned globe valve and service specialist company having an established customer base in the Korean EPC sector and the domestic petrochemical and power generation industries. This acquisition provides Metso with a key position to further im­prove its presence in the domestic South Korean market.
