Mitsubishi to supply turbine sets to Mahagenco

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd has received an order from Maharashtra State Power Generation Co Ltd (Mahagenco) of India for three sets of supercritical-pressure coal-fired boiler (pressure-containing component) and steam turbine/generator. The equipment will be delivered for Units 8, 9 and 10 of 660 MW each, at the company’s Koradi Thermal Power Station as a part of a project aimed at easing electricity shortages arising due to Maharashtra region’s robust economic growth.
