New Volvo truck for AR Demolition

AR Demolition, a UK contractor based in Carlton, Leicestershire, has ordered the first Volvo FH16-750 to be delivered into the UK and Ireland from Volvo Truck and Bus Centre East Anglia's Bardon Dealerpoint. The FH16 is powered by Volvo's D16G 16 litre diesel that delivers 3,550 Nm (Newton metre) of torque.The contractor currently operates two other Volvos - an FM with Boughton hookholder material handling equipment and an FH tractor unit used on both low loader and bulk trailer duties. A new low loader is being purchased for use with the new 6 x 4 double drive tractor, specified by AR with Volvo's latest I-Shift aut-omatic gearbox and retarder together with a transmission oil cooler. The company will also be trialing Volvo's Dynafleet telematics system.
