Toshiba to supply two sets of thermal power generation equipment

Toshiba Corp has won an order from Essar Power Gujarat Ltd, to supply two sets of thermal power generation equipment for a coal-fired plant project in Gujarat. The order calls for supplying two 660-MW supercritical steam turbines and generators to Essar Power Gujarat Ltd, a subsidiary of Essar Power Ltd, one of India’s biggest independent power producer.
