Selection process and Jury meet... Selecting India's Top Architects and Builders has never been an easy task. The who's who of the architecture and builder industry was selected first through a perception-based survey, followed by stringent jury deliberation. Having received a tremendous response for the survey on Top Architects and Builders in India, the final selection was made by the jury during a meeting on June 16, 2017. The architect jury panel comprised of Debasis Mitra, Sr Director-Operations, Shapoorji Pallonji and Company; Jayanand Potdar, COO, Godrej Properties; Avinash K Gautam, CEO, Silvan Innovation Labs; Asutosh Shah, Managing Director, Duravit India; Ashish Rakheja, Managing Partner, Aeon Integrated Buildind Design Consultants LLP; Vikram Choubal, Vice President-Project Management Global Design Asia Pacific, JW Marriott Hotel, Mumbai; Dhiraj Wadhwa, Director-Integrated Solutions & Key Accounts, Carrier Airconditioning & Refrigeration; KE Ranganathan, Managing Director, Roca Bathroom Products; K Raghavan, Director, National Accounts India, Building Efficiency, Johnson Controls (I); and Rajeev Antony, Managing Director, Schueco India. The builder jury panel comprised Ar Rahul Kadri; Koushik Sarkar, ex-CEO, USG Boral; Mario Schmidt, Director, Lingel Windows & Doors Technologies; Anuj Jain, Director, Decorative and Industrial Sales and Marketing, Kansai Nerolac Paints; Antony Parokaran, ex-CEO, Schindler India; Jeff Rodrigues, Managing Director, Owens-Corning (India); Vir S Advani, Managing Director, Blue Star; Anshu Sarin, CEO, Berggruen Hotels; Zubin Zainuddin, Principal Architect, ZZ Architects; and Ashish Kumar, Director-Project Management, Colliers International. Having discussed the shortlisted companies in detail and interacting with their representatives (initiated for the first time this year) on the basis of this year's theme - GLOCAL: Thinking Global and Acting Local - the jury members cast their vote through a secret ballot.
