The construction chemicals market has a huge growth potential due to the construction and manufacturing boom in India. It has shown a strong growth rate of 16 per cent per annum and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 15-20 per cent to reach US$ 1 billion by 2016 for the organised sector. However, the use of construction chemicals is still negligible in India as 85 per cent of contractors and builders are not fully aware of its advantages. Hence, creating awareness about the role of this industry in the Indian market is the need of the hour. Catering to this need is the upcoming 4th International Construction Chemicals Conclave 2013.

Supported by the Government of Gujarat, FICCI jointly with the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Government of India, will organise the æ4th International Construction Chemicals Conclave 2013Æ at Ahmedabad in Gujarat. With a theme - 'Chemicals and Construction: Building a Future Together', the event will highlight the Indian market overview vis-a-vis the global market and acquaint it with a market size competitive analysis, market forecasts and demand analysis of the industry. The conference will also focus on ways and means of enhancing the consumption of construction chemicals in the region by addressing its challenges and strategies to overcome these.
