ACC appoints Kuldip Kaura as CEO & MD

The Board of Directors of ACC Ltd recently appointed Kuldip K Kaura as Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of the company. He succeeded Sumit Banerjee who is taking up a new assignment. Holding Bachelor of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani is also an alumnus of several executive education programmes at the London Business School and the Swedish Institute of Management. He has vast experience of leading businesses in diverse sectors such as power, natural resources, metals and mining as well as a deep understanding of corporate governance and sustainable development. He has been a Director on the Board of ACC since October 28, 2009. Prior to this, he was CEO of Vedanta Resources Plc, where he is still acting as an advisor.
