Binani Cement wins 11 awards

Binani Cement Limited (BCL), the flagship company of Braj Binani Group, has won 11 awards and certificates in energy conservation, quality excellence, sustainability, environment excellence, and water and energy management. The company has bagged two national awards; Best Electrical Energy and Best Thermal Energy Performance for the year 2007-08. It has also bagged the National Quality Excellence Award 2008-09 in recognition of its leadership, capabilities and performance leading to excellent management of the business processes in all areas of operation. Other awards won by Binani Cement in the year include ITC CII Sustainability Award 2009, Greentech Environment Excellence Gold Award 2009, National Award for Excellence in Water Management 2009, National award for Excellence in Energy Management 2009, Certificate of Merit for 2007-08 for Productivity Improvements, Certificate of Excellence - Best Employer Award Competition 2008, Udyog Bharati Award 2009 and Indian Achievers Award for Quality.
