Carrier India bagged the first prize in the Consumer Goods Manufacturing Sector at the prestigious National Energy Conservation Awards 2011. The awards are bestowed by the Government of India through the Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency to manufacturers that have achieved excellence in energy conservation. Carrier has won the National Energy Conservation Award for five consecutive years in the Consumer Goods Manufacturing Sector, between 2007 and 2011, and received the first prize for four out of the last five years.
