World Wide Auctioneers foray into the Indian market
Nearly 300 people were present at the first auction which had 150 registered buyers besides many participating in the online bidding. Bids were made for a total of 156 machines which included cranes, excavators, graders, pavers, loaders, concrete pumps, transit mixers, dumpers, rollers, road sweepers, manlifts, generators, rock breaker attachments, welding sets, harrows, cars and many other construction trade related equipment.
World Wide Auctioneers, the world's leading auction house of machinery and equipment, forayed into the Indian market with an inaugural auction in October 2010. Having conducted successful operations in almost ten countries including the USA, WWA commenced its operations in India from its base in Gurgaon. WWA's auction yard is spread over 6.5 acre with a capacity to park over 1,000 machines and 6,000 sq ft of built up area for the office.
