Bihar to build 552 km Indo-Nepal border road at 3,547 cr

In Bihar, an Indo-Nepal border road of 552 km will be constructed and the foundation stone to the road work was scheduled to be laid by the Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde at Gairya Chowk, Saraigarh, in Supaul district on June 25.

The road, a project of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, will be constructed by the Road Construction Department (RCD) of the Bihar government at a cost of Rs 3,547.96 crore of which the Union Home Ministry will give Rs 1,655.99 crore.
