Court questions centre for non-inclusion of Gwalior in JNNURM
Three officials of the union urban development ministry received a notice from the Gwalior bench of MP High Court questioning the elimination of Gwalior from the list of JNNURM cities.
On February 17, 2012, the high court ordered JNNURM to include Gwalior in the mission within two months. But even after one year the clarification of the centre and administration of JNNURM is awaited.
Following this, the bench issued the notice to the JNNURM Director Nisha Singh, Joint Secretary UK Sadave and Secretary of Central Urban Development Ministry.
The bench asked all the three officers to reply within two weeks time.
