Himachal to develop 5 satellite townships

In Himachal Pradesh, five satellite townships would be developed under Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). The State government is keen to establish the proposed five new integrated townships at Shimla, Solan, Mandi, Hamirpur and Dharamshala.
This was stated by Himachal Pradesh Urban Development, Housing and Town & Country Planning Minister Sudhir Sharma on November 6.
The Minister was presiding over the 30th meeting of Board of Directors of Himachal Pradesh Urban development Authority (HIMUDA) in Shimla.
