JSW buys Heidelberg Cements grinding unit in Maha

For an undisclosed amount, JSW Steel has acquired Heidelberg Cement India's cement grinding facility in Raigad of Maharashtra.
The capacity of the facility is 0.6 million tonne per annum (mtpa). The two companies signed the Business Transfer Agreements for the acquisition on October 5.
As per the filings made to the Bombay Stock Exchange by by the Hidelberg and JSW Steel won Monday Ocober 7 the transaction will be consummated only after obtaining all relevant approvals required under applicable laws.
JSW Steel had acquired the company through the erstwhile JSW Ispat Steel, which is now its merged associate firm.
