Jetpur-Somnath highway-8D to be widened into 4-lane

In Gujarat, the Jetpur-Somnath section of National Highway (NH)-8D is being converted into four lane under NHDP Phase-III by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). Four laning of Bhavnagar-Veraval section and two lane paved shoulder/four laning of Gadu Dwarka section of NH-8E is scheduled to be completed in September, 2015.

Four laning of NH-8D is scheduled to be completed in September, 2014. This was stated by Sarvey Sathyanarayana, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in the Lok Sabha recently.
