K Raheja Corp ranked among India’s Top 100 for women-friendly work culture

K Raheja Corp is on the Working Mothers Media – Top 100 companies list – making it a proud moment for a company that is in a traditionally male-dominated industry of real estate. Competing with the best Indian corporate for a national ranking and global recognition on gender equality, the company’s women-friendly work culture made the cut over its peers. This position is bagged as an outcome of a survey cum benchmarking project by India's first diversity advocate and workplace inclusion expert, the AVTAR Group, and the world's most celebrated gender parity champion, Working Mother Media, to bring the latter's prestigious 30-year-old – 100 Best Companies for Women ranking to India, honoring companies that successfully help women have sustainable careers.

K Raheja Corp’s people-first culture, coupled with clear expectations from each employee, empowers them with support required like sabbaticals, flexible working hours, work from home initiatives, which helps foster a culture that balances life, both at work and at home. With an open management and no discrimination, women play an equal role in working across functions from sales to engineering and from architecture to contracts.

Speaking on the award, Urvi Aradhya, Senior Vice President-Human Resources, K Raheja Corp said, “We are honoured to be recognised in our efforts as an organisation. We have, over the years, built an organisation where employees are empowered and accountable at the same time. We remain committed to being an equal-opportunities company that does not differentiate. Our work culture and policies are tailored to suit employee requirements and is an outcome of direct feedback from them. It is our endeavor to create a corporate culture that fosters an excellent working environment for all employees, including working mothers.”
