Organised by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India, the show is regarded as the trendsetter event for the business in the LED technology. LED technology has been slowly accepted in India as it is the perfect solution for illuminating the public, commercial and private spaces. Lighting accounts for 20-30 per cent of global electricity consumption and about 6 per cent of greenhouse gas emissions.

Around 200 exhibitors from nations like India, China, Taiwan, HK, Korea, UAE, the US and Denmark will participate in the mega show. The day-2 of the LED Expo will host the LED Summit by eminent speakers which will throw light on smart solutions for future lighting. The top 10 exhibitors include key players like OEM Group (BAG), German Brand, Swingtel, Light Tapes LLP (USA product), SM Solar, Range Lighting, Changi Lighting and Sigma lighting will be participating in the expo. The companies are all set to showcase energy-efficient products focusing on advantages in rural areas of the country to initiate sustainable electrification in rural areas in the country. Also, a host of Indian start-up companies like KPH Technologies, Smartlight, Bag Electronics, Boffin Impex, GR Lights, HS Corporation, Silvolite, Range Lite, Arham Electronics and SM Solar products shall bring their new range and innovative solutions on the floor. One major interesting launch is the automatic soldering robot that will boost, manufacturing processes with world-class technology by KPH Technologies. Also, Silvolite will unveil, LED torches and LED lamps that are water and shock resistant. And these lamps would be used in rural areas and areas that are affected by long hours of power cuts in the city as well.The futuristic products that will galore at the expo are the LED products like COB Downlight, LED Lights using solar and battery to minimise electricity usage, Tuneable white lights, and many more which can also be connected to your Wi-Fi and can be controlled by Android/IoS, devices.
