Panel selects consultant for expressway project

The consultant evaluation committee for the greenfield six lane access controlled Agra to Lucknow expressway project has finalised consultant for the project.

At a meeting headed by Infrastructure & Industrial Development Commissioner (IIDC) Anil K Gupta, the committee selected a consortium of Feedback Infrastructure Services and Redecon as the project development consultant.

The consortium would undertake preparation of techno-economic feasibility report (TEFR) and detailed project report (DPR) of the expressway.

The project would be executed under the Public Private Partnership model with minimum distance and minimum agricultural land formula and is expected to reduce the travel time between Lucknow to Agra to 3 hours from the present six hours.

Earlier, the committee opened the financial bids of two technically qualified bidders, namely consortium of Feedback Infrastructure Services with Redecon (India) and consortium of Egis India Consulting Engineers with Ernst & Young.

Feedback Infrastructure Services in consortium Redecon was found to have quoted the lowest financial bid for providing services.
