RITE and Aark Infosoft sign MoU for e-governance, Smart Cities

Top Russian IT solutions firm RusITExport (RITE) has signed an agreement with India’s Aark Infosoft to cooperate on Information Technology in various projects coming under cyber security, Smart City and e-governance. The agreement will further the development of complex IT projects in the country. The agreements were signed at the GITEX Information Technology Gourm held in Dubai in early October, in the presence of the Indian Ambassador to UAE. Russian officials have been reported saying that Stage-I of the agreement implementation involves the formation of a road map. The two firms will also be cooperating for three unnamed Smart City projects that are yet to be revealed. The companies will work on developing cyber security and electronic elections. The first stage of the implementation of the agreement will be the development of a road map, as per Russian officials reportedly. As per reports, the two companies also discussed current IT and communications trends and the need to develop strong IT infrastructure in India.
