TriVeda Capital launches 5 real estate projects in Blore

TriVeda Capital on June 17 launched a $500 million real estate asset management platform in India. The platform's initial portfolio is comprised of five residential and mixed-use projects located in Bangalore. Raj S Inamdar, Managing Director of TriVeda Capital, states that the company look forward to differentiating in the Indian marketplace through its world-class private equity standards, value-oriented investment approach, conservative use of leverage and activist asset management programme.

TriVeda plans to draw upon the firm's institutional private equity expertise to deliver value-added asset management services on behalf of both real estate owners and investors. TriVeda invests capital on behalf of global institutions, India-based and NRI/PIO investors into structured real estate transactions located in India's Tier I cities.

The firm is now seeking to deploy capital into a range of middle-class residential projects. Sachin Garg, vice- president of TriVeda Capital, elaborates that the firm is in advanced stages of discussion to acquire a residential land parcel in Bangalore for $20 million, and will soon be identifying a developer to execute the project. Over the next several months, TriVeda also intends to commence capital raising activities for a closed-end vehicle established for NRIs, PIOs and India-based real estate investors.
