Runwal Group, under the leadership of Director Subodh Runwal,has offered the highest bid of Rs 1,000 crore to Crompton Greaves for its 25 acre in Mumbai. The company considers the present land rates to be considerably realistic and is hoping for a revival in the real-estate sector. Earlier, Runwal Group had bought 2 acre from ABG Shipyard Ltd in Worli, Mumbai worth Rs 245 crore. Considering his vast expertise in the construction and retail sector, Runwal certainly knows how to strike the iron when it is hot!
