Under the guidance of its Managing Director Anil Kumar Singh, APCO Infratech has successfully been awarded the contract for the construction of the 6.5-km-long Z-morh tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir. Setting an important landmark, this project will provide all-weather connectivity between Srinagar and Kargil. With Singh heading the Rs.23.78-billion venture, the company will strive to complete the project in approximately three-and-a-half years after receiving the letter of award. The tunnel is being constructed on the build-operate-transfer model and will be a significant addition to the company’s portfolio. Additionally, Singh’s pertinent business approach has helped the company attain an order book of more than Rs.65 billion. The company’s achievements, including bagging such projects, are testimony to his leadership and aspirations for the firm.
