India will soon get its largest digital real estate services company. This comes with Dhruv Agarwala-led PropTiger.com merging with Housing.com. As part of the transaction, REA Group will invest $50 million in the joint entity with an affiliate of SoftBank Group Corp, investing $5 million. The joint entity will be the only player in India offering a complete range of online and offline services in real estate, such as personalised search, virtual viewing, site visits, legal and financial diligence, negotiations, property registration, home loans and post-sales service. With Agarwala, co-founder and CEO of PropTiger.com, serving as CEO of the joint entity, it is well positioned to win the digital real estate market in India!
