A hanging marvel by Abhijit Rajan - that's what the recently inaugurated country's longest hanging bridge across river Chambal in Kota is! Rajan, Chairman & Managing Director, Gammon India, along with its JV partner South Korea's Hyundai Engineering, has been a strong pillar in ensuring execution of this project, which took as many as 10 years to be completed. The six-lane cable stayed Kota Bypass Bridge in Rajasthan, constructed 60 m above the river Chambal on the Kota Bypass, is built at about 213.59 crore. Finally, with the long hanging journey that the bridge has had, the JV - with Rajan taking the lead in India - has been successful in providing Kota city its first ever bypass facility.
