HM Nerurkar, Executive Director, Tata Steel, who was recently appointed as the company’s new Managing Director, has over 35 years of experience in the steel industry. He has previously served as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (Steel), of the company. He joined the Tata Steel Board as Executive Director in April 2009 and with his motivational leadership, instilled confidence in his subordinates and mentored and coached them to reach excellence. Gifted with a natural flair for nurturing innovation and strong business acumen, Nerurkar has also helped Tata Steel in being among the top 10 steel producers in the world with an existing annual crude steel production capacity of 30 million tonne per annum.
