RERA PIONEER

With the Real Estate Regulation (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA) becoming effective in the entire country from May 1, 2017, its implementation is likely to bring in transparency, discipline and confidence, which will reinforce consumer's trust in the sector. And while Maharashtra is among the first states to notify the RERA rules, Mayfair Housing was the first to register its project in the state, and the country at large. Its Chairman and Managing Director Nayan Shah, has been a front runner in registering the company's project Mayfair Vishwaraja on May 1 itself. Spearheaded by Shah, it was the first to receive the Registration Certificate granted by the MAHARERA authority within 10 days after scrutiny of the application. Immediately after the RERA was notified by the Central Government about a year back, his company started studying the same and soon after the rules were notified by the Maharashtra Government, started preparing the application for registration under RERA. Under Shah's guidance, Mayfair is already making a role model for many!
