Roller coaster ride

With the launch of India's own DisneyLand, it's time to have some fun. Adlabs Entertainment recently inaugurated its theme park Adlabs Imagica - touted to be South Asia's largest theme park near Khopoli. The project, developed under the leadership of Chairman Manmohan Shetty, is spread across 110 acre. It offers 21 tourist attractions paired with sophisticated technologies, such as the 4D simulation technology. With a capacity to accommodate 20,000 visitors, the park also features a 300-room hotel and water park. The company further plans to expand the theme park in the next one year by starting a water park and hotel, which will take the total investment in the project to Rs 1,650 crore. Following the style of a Disney or Universal Studios park and inspired by the Indian legacy of storytelling, it's made up of six 'lands': Viva Europa, Arabia, Asiana, Americana, India and Jumbo Africa.
