Tata Power successfully commissioned its 25 MW solar photovoltaic power project in Mithapur under Gujarat’s Solar Power Policy 2009, through its subsidiary, Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd, on January 25, 2012. Spread over 100 acre, the plant uses the widely deployed Crystalline Silicon Photo-Voltaic technology and being one of the largest of its kind in the country, is now feeding power into the grid.
